Website of Daniel Byrd Biography: Daniel Hugh Byrd was born in Harlem in 1953, raised in New York City and comes from a family preachers. He has been preaching the Gospel more than 43 years. He was first licensed to preach in 1970 and later ordained under the ministry of Dr. M. L. Wilson of Convent Avenue Baptist Church, N.Y. in 1975. He also received ordination under the ministries of Bishop Paul E. Paino of Fort Wayne, IN and Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr. of Darrow, LA in 2001. He has traveled extensively across this nation and has ministered in Canada and Jamaica W.I. He is sought after for his unique ability to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with both boldness and compassion. His areas of focus in ministry include wisdom, spiritual strength, children, finances, godly sexuality and restoring weary and or fallen ministers. He has taken courses at Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ohio. Brother Byrd walks in the prophet’s office. He is also the author of Praying Patty and the Secret Languages, a book for children and alternative to the popular magic and occult books on the market today. He was married 19 years to Debra Ann Byrd who was also a minister who assisted him as overseer of Prevailing Word Ministries, Inc.; the church they founded in Fort Wayne, IN in 1992. He is also the founder of Daniel Byrd Ministries. He has three children, Joii (pronounced Joy), Noel and Renee (Noel's wife) all of whom are ministers Brother Byrd also has three grandsons; Isaac Lee, Hagin Daniel and Wyatt Tee. |
